…let it rain!
For a spider, on top of the water spout offers great views, along with opportunities to be seen, as well as, heard. It is where tight webs are formed, and wings are discovered. It is also a precarious place where in a little rain can wash the spider down — tumbling in a mucky puddle every now and again — wings and all! This is when she learns that webs are not necessarily nets and wings are not floatation devices. She embraces the views as much the muck, with the understanding that there is nothing like a good rain for clarity.
