NYU CAS Declaration Day Windows

Expanding on the beautiful brain theme that I created in 2023 for NYU CAS, this window was designed for the NYU CAS September 2024 Declaration Day events. These six oversized window sets span an entire New York City block along the building’s Washington Square side, transforming the façade into a bold, high-impact visual installation.

The playful illustration that I created supports the on-going “Beautiful Brain” campaign. The overall design used vibrant color, expressive line work, and large-scale typography to draw attention in a dense urban setting and reinforce the institution’s brand identity. The individual schools with the College of Arts and Science are represented using previously designed school “pins.” Printed on translucent white vinyl installed second surface ensured color vibrancy.

Beyond visual impact, the installation sparked students to snap and share on social media, turning the display into an organic extension of the event. Printed posters and social media art were also designed for the event.
